What exists. Where it lives.
Who needs to know.
The asset-instruction vault for Australian individuals and families. We hold instructions about what you own and how your family can find it — not your passwords, not your crypto keys, not your money.
The Vault
Digital Legacy Vault — the simplified version
The Digital Legacy Vault is a place to record, per asset category, what you own and how your nominated recipient can find it. Each module names what exists (fund name, member number, account identifier, location of documents) and who you've nominated to receive the instructions. Modules are released according to YOUR release rules — not by default, not by us. The simplified version is built for individuals and families; a full enterprise version is on the roadmap.
The regulatory boundary is the whole point: the Digital Legacy Vault holds instructions, not assets. We do not hold passwords. We do not hold cryptocurrency private keys, seed phrases, or hardware wallet PINs. We do not hold money. That keeps the Digital Legacy Vault outside the Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) regime under Corporations Act Part 7.6, and outside AUSTRAC's AML/CTF reporting obligations. It also means no identity verification on you for compliance reasons — and a simple subscription instead of a regulated product.
The waitlist is open for individuals, partnered adults, parents of dependants, and carers of aging parents across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
What's in scope — and what's not:
- In: what exists (asset inventory), where to find it (account identifiers), who to contact (trustee, broker, vet, conveyancer)
- In: recipient-specific modules — your spouse, executor, sibling, adult child each see only what you've prepared for them
- In: release rules — modules unlock per your stated triggers (incapacity confirmation, death certificate, scheduled release)
- Out: passwords, recovery codes, MFA seeds, MyGov credentials
- Out: cryptocurrency private keys, seed phrases, hardware wallet PINs, exchange API keys
- Out: custody of assets, financial advice, or any function requiring an AFSL
Property & superannuation
Addresses, ownership structure (sole, joint, trust), mortgagee and insurer contacts, super fund identifiers, binding death-benefit nomination expiry, trustee contacts. No deeds, no passwords.
Investments incl. crypto
Instructions, not keys. What exists (issuer, broker, exchange) and how to find it (HIN, SRN, account identifier). No private keys, no recovery phrases, no hardware wallet PINs — those are not in scope and never will be.
Online accounts & digital legacy
Account inventory (provider + identifier), recovery contact arrangements, intended fate (archive to family, delete, publish) for photos, journals, and creative work. No login credentials.
Personal effects, pets, subscriptions
Sentimental items with intended recipients, pet care plans with nominated-carer consent recorded, recurring-payment inventory with cancellation guidance to stop auto-charges draining the estate.
